TIME:

Happy Learning Academy – HLA summer camp with the participation of students from Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Mongolia takes place from May to August, the summer vacation time of each country is different, so the rate of nationalities at the same time are not uniform.

Happy Learning Academy – HLA picks up children according to the school’s schedule that lasts for 4 months and is flexible with study times from 4, 6 and 8 weeks, so parents can consider and choose a suitable departure date and time.

STUDY PROGRAM:

Many parents contact Happy Learning Academy – HLA and ask if children who do not know English can study? The answer is absolutely possible because there is no specific age or level for children to start learning English. At HLA, students are tested for entrance and placed in grades from basic to advanced so parents can rest assured. Especially, students can register for the IELTS program if they are eligible to study.

Children’s schedule has 9 classes, in which there are 4 classes with one teacher and one student, 4 group classes and 1 sports class. With an environment where English is spoken for more than 6 hours a day, it helps students improve English at a faster rate, create reflexes and think in English. In particular, Happy Learning Academy – HLA aims at the goal that students are no longer afraid to speak English and are always excited in the learning process.

Happy Learning Academy – HLA understands that besides learning, physical activities play an important role in the development age of students. At HLA, children are enhanced with sports classes with a variety of subjects such as basketball. , swimming, table tennis, golf practice … are changed regularly every day.

The children’s evening schedule will not have a fixed activity. They will write diary and practice English presentations on weekday evenings, the rest of the days will favor physical activities such as sports competitions, sports, playing folk games…

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:

Happy Learning Academy Summer Camp – HLA is a program of learning english and travel in Cebu. The beautiful island of Cebu will be a great place for children to have the opportunity to experience, learn and spend time with their friends, many beautiful friendships can start from HLA picnics.

Every Saturday, HLA students will depart to famous places in Cebu such as Jpark Resort, watch whale sharks in Oslob, Nalusuan Angel Island, visit Santo Nino Cathedral – one of the oldest Catholic in the Philippines… and many religious, cultural and tourist sites are waiting for HLA summer camp students to discover.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:

HLA’s more than 1 hectare space along with the fresh air of the suburbs of Cebu will be an ideal place for children to focus on learning and playing, freely choosing their favorite sport or playing with friends after a day of study.

HLA’s green lawn can become a place for children to show off their barbecue, camping, cycling, Zumba dance lessons or playing Filipino and Vietnamese folk games, things that are not found in urban areas.

room arrangement:

Students will be allocated rooms of the same sex and according to the same age, or 1-2 years gap, children from different regions or different nationalities (depending on the time). It is also an opportunity to learn about cultural differences and make friends.

At first, children may feel strange because they start living in a new space and meet many new friends, but in the age of discovery and learning, they can adapt very quickly. Therefore, HLA hopes that parents can be patient and trust their children, giving them the opportunity to learn and be independent.

FOOD – cuisine:

Students have 3 main meals a day with a menu of Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino… which is changed regularly with full fruits and milk to ensure adequate nutrition and deliciousness for students. Every other day, students will be enhanced with extra snacks provided by the school on the menu or at the request of the students: pizza, burgers, smoothies, cakes, milk tea…

OTHER SERVICES:

• Clean the room, change the bed sheets according to the school’s general schedule.
• Staff on duty to support students at the dormitory 24/7
• In the school, there are Vietnamese and Filipino staff to guide the children
• Pick up and drop off students according to the school’s schedule 

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION:

HLA’s summer camp program is designed for children ages 6-16. With a flexible schedule of 4-6-8 weeks, parents can choose the appropriate study time for their children.

After the family agrees to let the child participate in the summer study abroad program:

1. Send your passport photo and course duration to the HLA Admissions Representative
2. Receive an offer of admission and tuition notice from HLA
3. HLA’s admissions representative guides and supports parents to perform guardianship authorization at the Philippine Consulate (For children under 15 years old who are not accompanied by parents).

Departure schedule is subject to change but will be communicated to parents in advance.
